TeleCare receives testimonial to Radio Tygerberg while on air
Anton de Beer appeared on Radio Tygerberg 104fm on the 11th June 2012 to talk about the telecare industry and how TeleCare™ Solutions is assisting people from all walks of life to live safer lives.
The following testimonial came in to the show via SMS while we were on air.
My moeder is verslaaf aan TeleCare™ en is al verskeie kere deur TeleCare™ bygestaan in erge nood. Sonder hulle sou sy waarskynlik nie meer met ons gewees het nie. Dankie vir TeleCare™ Anton! Groete Mnr. R. Hanekom
My mother is dependent on TeleCare™ and has already on several occasions been assisted by TeleCare™ in severe distress. Without them she would probably no longer be with us. Thank you Anton for TeleCare™! Regards Mr. R. Hanekom

Paramedics could hear me in the garden through the CareStation unit in my house
I was busy in the garden
trimming a tree, when I lost my balance and fell on the garden scissors. The garden scissors went through my ribs and out on my
one side. Thankfully I could push my
TeleCare™ button which is on my arm and the
paramedics could hear me and talk to me
through the TeleCare™ unit (CareStation™)in my house, while I
lay in the garden. The paramedics responded
immediately and kept me calm by talking to me through
the TeleCare™ unit until the ambulance arrived.
I want to thank TeleCare™ and
Cape Medical Response for saving my life!

TeleCare helps avert a burglary to a bed-ridden Claremont residents home
We had an emergency call on 27/03/2012 at 00h13, through the TeleCare™ unit, from a lady that lives alone in her home in Claremont. She has a rare disease, is bed ridden and her TeleCare™ service is 100% subsidised by the Department of the Social Development in the Western Cape.
She heard someone trying to break in through her front door and pushed her help button. We could hear it through the TeleCare™ unit and immediately called the police on 10111.
The police were there within minutes and caught the burglar in the act!
